    • Continuity Management

      • Business Continuity Management is a holistic process that identifies potential impacts that threaten the organization and provide a development framework for building resilience and effective response capabilities in order to safeguard the interests of the organization and third parties with which it interacts, the organization's reputation and creative activities value.

      • continuity management process focuses on two essential components:

      a. business continuity program management, dealing with the necessary framework for the activities of the development, maintenance and practice of business continuity plans, namely the creation of continuity management capabilities;

      b. continuity plan, the continuity management process resultant which integrates business continuity plans for each critical activity and management capacity continuity development tool to produce an incident.

      These two components are interdependent in the sense that the continuity plan is a continuity management program product and the complexity and resources required to conduct continuity management program depends on the details of continuity plan.

      The continuity plan is an effective tool for responding to incident management processes of continuity. Continuity plan goal is to identify in advance, as much as possible, actions and resources required to enable the organization to successfully manage any business interruption, regardless of cause.

      Where disruptive event evolve out of management needs and business resume within the timeframe established, the continuity plan will contain an escalation procedure to an incident management plan, focused on crisis management, internal and external communication.
